View CompuStrike Stats

Inside the Numbers: Fedor’s nose cut by Rogers’ first landed strike- a jab.  Rogers went on to land 21 of 34 total strikes (62%) in the round to 20 of 29 (69%) for Fedor, who landed seven arm strikes and four for Rogers.  Fedor, whose face was a crimson mask when the round ended, scored two takedowns and attempted a submission attempt as well.  Fedor used head movement to avoid several Rogers’ bombs in round two, then set up the right hook that ended the fight (1:48) with some nifty footwork working off the cage.

Main Card

Jake Shields W 5 (Unan) Jason Miller

Inside the Numbers: Shields had the statistical advantage in every round, with 96 of his 106 total strikes landed coming from the ground.  Miller landed just 39 total strikes all fight, but scored five takedowns, to seven for Shields.  Miller sunk a rear naked choke that probably would have ended the fight in round three had the horn not sounded.
