One of the deadliest strikers in Mixed Martial Arts and an opponent’s worst “Whitemare,’’ Marius Zaromskis had won five in a row and nine of 10 until his recent loss to the current Strikeforce Welterweight Champion, Nick Diaz. In July 2009, he captured the prestigious DREAM 12 Welterweight Grand Prix in Japan by literally booting the daylights out of his last two tournament foes, winning both by spectacular, evil head kicks, both in the first round.
Zaromskis is a violent and aggressive striker who moves forward with the sole intention of removing an opponent's head with a non-stop barrage of weaponry. Of Zaromskis' 13 victories, 10 have come via KO or TKO. A Cage Rage veteran, Zaromskis has consistently produced highlight-reel performances on the big stage since turning pro in February 2000.
Marius is set to step back into the cage on June 16 to take on Evangelista Cyborg in the Strikeforce Live fight card at Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
