i used to be a big ufc fan but now its getting dumb.. ufc doesnt focus on da fighters competitions no more all they are caring aboutis the money.. forrest vs tito 2? they are big names dat ppl wana see but still.. tito is coming off 2 losses, 1 draw n year n a half of retirement. wat good cud come off him? forrest is coming off 2 BIG losses.. TKO'D from rashad and embarrasing KO from the spider.. how can these guys be headlining? i know brock got sick but still.. most of the champions in ufc defend their championship now maybe even once a year.. dats why i admire strikeforce.. scott coker already said he wants the champions to defend the belt at least 2 times a year if not more.. i just hope that this doesnt happen to strikeforce cuz its looking better and better everytime..

Not to mention having your own champions fight, but not for the title. (Gegard Mousasi) Bj is defending at 107, Gsp was out after the Alves fight and will fight Hardy next. Silva has ran through everyone. Machida defended at 104, and Brock is obviously out. What are you seriously complaining about? It was originally Coleman vs Tito but Coleman got hurt. All upcoming Ufc's were pretty stacked but fighters have been dropping like fly's. I think for all the injuries that have been going on the Ufc has done alright.

You guys really need too chill. UFC has good fighters, but the president has no class. Scott Coker, on the other hand does. I used too watch Strikeforce for Frank Shamrock and such. Now they have Fedor, Gegard, Marius Zaromskis, etc
I would rather watch those three fight, then anyone in the UFC.

So if Dana let Chuck fight in Pride back in 2003, why can't he send a HW over to Strikeforce to fight Fedor? Maybe he is the one with Doubts. Or he cares more about how many bills he has in his pocket than he does the sport of MMA. UFC is quickly becoming a mainstream joke.

dana doesnt want to co-promote cuz he doesnt expose his fighters,and he makes no money for himself,if fedor beat brock in a co-promotion that would be it fedor would be on top and dana cant profit off it and the casual fan(dana makes all his money off of) would realize that the best fighter are not all in the ufc.if fedor was in ufc and fedor won he would market the fuck out him and make hela money.dana is on fedors nuts,

This can be the make or break fight of either of these guy's career. They both are fighters.
Both of these men's names draw in fans to watch their fights.
The question is....What other UFC fight could you put together right now that would be a better head liner?Think your OP through before starting a new thread. Don't just come on ranting about something without offering an alternative.

What exactly is a head liner for? Its the main draw, not necessarily the best match up. Might not be right but its the way it is.

To you and myself. Not to UFC's fan base. As MMA becomes more popular hardcore MMA fans become a fringe group. Market to the masses. I might not like it but that's the way to build the sport beyond what it is now.
What does that mean for StrikeForce? Well StrikeForce has a chance right now to swoop in and steal the UFC's 'purist' fan base out from underneath them. If Strike force is able to accomplish that then we will have a true MMA orginization in the US again.
This is one of the reasons I would like to see Asia's scoring system adopted here.ETA~Look at how many guys are signing on who are turning away from the UFC right now. StrikeForce should do all they can to encourage purists to make that transition. Placing fights on CBS will bring in the casual fans.
