   I'm not really bashing UFC much or anything, it's just that me, like probably some of the guys here, disagree with how UFC is becoming (and thus, most of us decided to see what Strikeforce has to offer, as we've had it with UFC's BS). With that, what are the reasons why you do not like UFC?

   Here are some of my reasons:
   1. UFC 104
   2. Overrated Brock Lesnar
   3. Those who are primarily UFC fans, not MMA fans altogether (the type of dudes that gets easily influenced by UFC and think it's always the best, conveniently ignoring other great organizations that are potentially offering way more if it weren't for the UFC monopoly, like Strikeforce here and the late, great Pride FC that usually gets 40,000 people per event).
   4. Pulling guard actually counts it as a takedown against the person who pulled guard (this is debatable though).
   5. Monopolizing corporate monster who wants to control everything MMA in the countries the UFC had a popular following to (particularly the USA).

   I can name many more, but I'll leave it to that for now. What are yours?

   #3 But that doesn't mean the Ufc sucks, just means they attract a lot more "bro, jock like" type of fan. That knows nothing outside of the Ufc.

   the UFC doesnt suck, they do have a lot of things to improve on though imo

   the UFC lightweight devision is flames

   the welterweight and middle division hasnt been anything exciting for a while now

   the light heavyweight division is still at its peak

   and the heavyweight division is getting a lot more exciting

    I have only seen a handful of womens bouts that were entertaining. Personally I don't want to see women fight, but hey if they want to fight, let them fight the men, that's why we have weight classes right? I must say carano is nice to look at though. I don't think Cyborg is even a chick, makes that runner in the world championship who had her gold stripped look feminine. Do they do sex testing?

    Competitive or not, I don't want to see them. I want to see them as much as I want to see men do synchronized swimming. NO NEED TO YELL! Last time I checked I am entitled to my opinion.

    1) They continue to try sell us subpar fights and fighters, not only by overhyping their own guys, but by disrespecting guys that are not in the UFC.

    Saying things like Fedor isn't the best because he doesn't fight the best. Who the hell has Lesnar fought? Carwin? Cain?
    How can you honestly sell us that Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin is a main event?

    2) Dana White's obsession about putting down the competition. He refuses to give anyone trying to put together top notch cards credit for what they've done. Saying instead that they aren't doing it right, or that they won't last. Then actively seek black ball fighters, camps, agents, and sponsors that work for the competition.

    3) Forcing sponsors to pay them for the right to sponsor a fighter. Not just that, but the manner in which they do it. They wait until the deals are all but signed then try to blackmail the sponsor into paying them a "licensing fee" or risk ending up on the banned list.

    4) They usurp agents constantly. They refuse to deal with many fighters agents, instead dealing with the fighter themselves in most cases. Driving wedges between managers that are only trying to do the best for their clients and the clients.

    dana white is not a fan of mma he just usinng to make money.that the upsetting part he not a fan.oh remember wen he say kimbo sucks he never b part of ufc then he puts him on tuf jus 4 rating,then for his promos for tuf he said the only way kimbo is in the ufc if he wins tuf,he loses in tuf,now there reports that he guna b on da show vs alexender on tv.if anything he should b on the prelim for the show.all for money.he should b happy 4 other promotions.

    I have a ton of reason, but here's my top 3:

    1. Preferential treatment for the UFC's poster boys and TUF alumni. The matchmaking is typically done to get their guys winning records, and get them in main event fights before they really deserve it. A great example is Forrest Griffin. He was 3-2 in his last 5 fights heading into his title shot against Rampage. Hardly deserving of a title shot, but the UFC somehow works him in there anyway.

    2. The UFC focuses mainly on brawlers. A lot of boxing diehards watch MMA (UFC) and think it's just sloppy boxing with lesser athletes. They're not totally off the mark there, at least not as of late. The UFC is showing preferential treatment for those figthers which are willing to go out there and bang it out regardless of their actual skill level. This results in way too many first round knockouts, and fighters who become names in the UFC only to be easily exposed by even mediocre ground games (Houston Alexander, Cheikh Kongo, that Browning TUF guy with the big mouth).

    3. Dana White. The guy has a taste for the spotlight and he loves it. Now his face is everywhere. I'm sick of his face and his "%$#@! this and %$#@! that dialogue" he should be acting a bit more professional. And what's with all his feuds with his fighters? He has no business saying the things he says about some of them (Tito Ortiz and Anderson Silva) they're the guys putting it all on the line, Dana White should treat them better and remember that he's where he is thanks to them.

    Wait I missed another big one:

    Too many crappy cards, or cards with good main events and then crap for the rest of the card. I guess it ties in with my #2 point above, in that the cards are loaded with guys lacking well rounded talent and athleticism. There was a time when the UFC would have 8 solid fights every card, and I'd be pissed because they wouldn't televise them all. Nowadays the UFC has like 2 fights max that I give a damn about. Their matchmaking is poor, too many mismatches and such. So to see fights like Shogun/Machida the PPV costs a ridiculous $50 and it's really only for one fight. Spending money on their PPV's is unreasonable they have like 2 every month! Shorten the number of cards down and make them good again and at least almost worth that steep $50. Save the Efrain Escudero Vs. Cole Miller fights for the Fight Nights!

    A few more:

    1. Their fight contracts suck. Randy Couture is the obvious person to turn to when asking about UFC contracts, and I reckon a lot of fighters with great potential but had bad luck got cut out of the UFC and left hanging by them, because UFC will only take care of those who kiss their ass or those who make big money for them. Once they feel that they won't profit from you, they'll disrespectfully cut you off instantly, taking advantage of the fact that fighters don't have fighter's union.

    2. With their crap contract where Fedor gets the short end of the deal (I don't believe what Dana says about the contract, and I believe the fighters more than Dana). With that, UFC doesn't have Fedor and couldn't have him :P This serves as a great equalizer for all orgs in the US because UFC cannot have what it wants all the time like a spoiled child. All the top HWs should consider going to Strikeforce now in order to be considered a true HW champ.

    I'm with you sukotsuto. It's like I was saying before about Dana White. He wants to have total control of everything, and many of the fighters suffer because of it. Can you believe Couture, his biggest draw walked away because of contract disputes? He's not the first champ to be in contract disputes with UFC (which he has been in twice as champ, remember he vacated the HW title he won against Mo Smith) but the UFC also lost Pulver, Penn, Busta, Frank Shamrock (am I missing anyone) due to contract disputes. I think largely this has to do with Dana White screwing with them. Also, DW cuts contracts in a ridiculous way as well...why cut Werdum? That made no sense...
